The proposal of the petitioner for validation of his tribe certificate was rejected on the ground that caste certificate of the petitioner was not issued by the competent authority. Mr. Golegaonkar, the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that during pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner has obtained caste certificate from the competent authority and the fresh proposal is filed for verification on 1st December, 2020 with the Committee.

In light of above, we pass following order:

The Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner preferably within a period of nine months from the date of appearance of the petitioner before it. 4.

The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 11.01.2021. The petitioner shall cooperate in early disposal of the proceedings. 5.

The employer shall not take adverse action against the petitioner only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. The employer can

take further course of action depending upon the judgment that would be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceedings. 6.

Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
