The learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions in writing, submits that on 26.02.2022, statement of the petitioner came to be recorded at Shirdi Police Station in connection with Crime No. 310/2021, registered with Shirdi Police Station. The learned Public Prosecutor submits that further investigation in connection with the said crime, in the light of statement of the petitioner, will be carried out under intimation to the concerned Court.

In view of the above statement, nothing survives for

{2} crwp931.21.odt further consideration in this writ petition. It is for the concerned Police Station to carry out further investigation in connection with the crime in terms of provisions of Section 173 (8) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and to fle supplementary charge sheet, if so required.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that purpose of fling of this petition is over. The learned Counsel, however, submits that so far as process of further investigation, in the light of the statement recorded of the petitioner is concerned, the same has to be carried out expeditiously. The learned Public Prosecutor Mr. Kale submits that the concerned Investigating Offcer will complete the process as expeditiously as possible, within a reasonable time.
