1] It is the submission of learned counsel for petitioner that respondent no.6 has forwarded proposal of petitioner for extension of age limit from 60 to 62 years and consequently continuing petitioner as Assistant Professor in respondent no.6 - institution. However, respondent no.5 - University of Pune has not taken any appropriate steps to constitute committee and forward said proposal to the State Government.

WP 6957/14 - 2 - 2] We direct respondent no.5 to take appropriate steps in respect of proposal of petitioner forwarded by respondent no.6 on 30.6.2014 as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 15.6.2015.
