In view of our order dated 10.10.2024, now we have received the report on 01.04.2025 given by Superintendent, Regional Mental Hospital, Yerwada, District Pune, wherein it is stated that the concerned inmate who was directed to be under treatment at Regional Mental Hospital, Yerwada is less symptomatic and does not need indoor psychiatric treatment. He has been declared fit for discharge in MHRB meeting held on 26.03.2025. In our order dated 21.10.2024, we had held that after receiving such certificate of overcoming the illness along with the application for parole or furlough by the convicted person or his brother or his relative, then the concerned authority may decide the same on its own merits. In view of the same, respondent No.2 is directed [1]

111-wp-1238-2024.odt to make aware the petitioner or the relative of the said inmate by name Vikas (Banti) Devidas Gaisamudre about the health and if they file any application for parole or furlough as the case may be, then to decide it according to law.
