The petitioner's proposal is pending with the respondent - Scrutiny Committee for validation since February 2023. 2.

Learned AGP, on instructions, submits that the vigilance report is still awaited. The petitioner may be directed to appear before the Committee on a specified date and receive a report and respond to it. The Committee would be able to decide it thereafter, as expeditiously as possible.

We dispose of the writ petition with following directions : i.

The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 22.07.2024. ii.

She shall be served with a vigilance report.

iii.

She shall thereafter respond to it within three days from receipt of the report and the Committee shall thereafter decide the proposal finally within a week thereafter.
