These are applications for condonation of delay in filing appeals, challenging award of the Reference Court enhancing the compensation.

Mr. Pawade h/f. Mr. L.C. Patil, Advocate for non-applicants opposed the applications by contending that the delay occasioned in filing the appeals is not at all sufficiently explained and as such applications deserve to be rejected.

Upon hearing learned Counsel for acquiring authority as well as learned AGP and learned Counsel for non-applicants, this Court feels that the delay deserves to be condoned as the same is sufficiently explained. The averments made in applications disclosing reasons for delay are not countered by filing counter affidavit. Hence, for the stated reasons, applications are allowed. Delay in filing first appeal is condoned. First Appeals be registered.
