Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGP for the respondents-State.

The petitioner is stated to have tendered an application on 12.06.2016 to the Tahsildar, Kannad praying for making correction in the revenue entry recorded in respect of land Gat No. 336 of village Digar, Tq. Kannad, District Aurangabad.

This petition can be disposed of with directions to the Tahsildar, Kannad to take decision on the application tendered by the petitioner after extending him an opportunity of hearing, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from today and it is accordingly directed.

Writ petition is disposed of.
