This petition can be disposed by issuing directions to respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to take decision on the application tendered by the petitioners on 22.1.2014 claiming rental compensation, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today and it is accordingly directed.

On determination of amount of rental compensation and in the event entitlement of the petitioners to receive rental compensation is upheld, the respondent No.4/acquiring body shall pay the amount as determined by the Collector or the Sub Divisional Officer, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within four months from such determination. 3.
