DATE : 19/06/2017 PER COURT :- 1] The Petition be treated as a request for release and payment of rental compensation. The petitioner states that the possession of the land was taken on 23/5/2006 but the award was made on 3/12/2011. In the circumstances, the claim for rental compensation from the date of taking possession till the date of making of the award has not been considered.

2] It is this request which is made to this Court as no action was taken on the petitioner's representation dated 31/01/2015 copy of which is at page no.27 of the paper book.

3] In these circumstances, we direct the Collector, District Aurangabad to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner as also the request made in this Petition as expeditiously as possible
