20.08.2019 P.C. :- In the writ petition it would not be possible to decide the dispute with regard to the title of the petitioners vis-a-vis the respondent nos.5 to 12. The petitioners have a better remedy available under the law. The petitioners are seeking directions against the respondents to conduct inquiry in respect of the manipulation in the award.

It is for the authorities to consider the award and the land acquired. If the petitioners are of the view that their land is affected in the land acquired under the award in question the petitioners may prove their claim and may claim the amount of compensation from the persons who according to the petitioners have illegally received the compensation amount.

( 2 ) 917 wp 9992.19 If any application is filed by the petitioners the authority may deal with the said application and take decision upon it in accordance with the provisions of the statute preferably within six months. Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
