Present applications have been filed by the original claimants for condonation of delay in filing first appeals. They want to challenge the judgment and award passed by the learned reference Court. Learned AGP as well as learned Advocate for acquiring body raised strong objection on the ground that the delay is inordinate and not properly explained. 2.

Taking into consideration the fact that the lands of the applicants were acquired and they are coming from rural area, liberal approach is taken, delay stands condoned.

Civil Applications stand allowed and disposed of accordingly. 4.

It is clarified that the applicants will not be entitled to get interest for the period of delay, in case of success to their respective appeals.

Registry to verify and register the first appeals and place them for further consideration on 27.01.2020.
