Mr. Bagul, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner has given various applications on 04.04.2015, 03.02.2017 and 07.04.2017 for payment of compensation in respect of the land of the petitioner acquired from Sy. No. 92/1/B2 for construction/widening of National Highway No. 6. The learned counsel further submits that, the competent authority has directed the Deputy Superintendent of Land Records, Dhule to demarcate the sub division of land Sy. No. 92/1 and show the exact area of the sub division of land Sy. No. 92/1. He further directed to specify sub division of land Sy. No. 92 and submit the
2 wp 8470.18 report. The learned counsel submits that, pursuant thereto the sub divisions have been notified. The report/map is submitted to the competent authority.

We have also heard Mr. Deshpande, the learned A. S. G. for respondent/Union of India.

In case applications of the petitioner for payment of compensation dated 04.04.2015, 03.02.2017 and 07.04.2017 are pending with the competent authority, then the competent authority shall take decision upon it on its own merits, in accordance with law, after hearing all parties concerned, expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months from today.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
