Mr. Pawar, the learned Counsel for the petitioner, submits that the land has been acquired about 22 - 25 years back. However, as yet, no award has been passed.

Mrs. Deshpande, the learned Asst. Government Pleader for respondent nos.1, 4, 5 and 6, submits that the proposal submitted by the acquiring body has been returned back with a direction that the same be submitted under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. 3.

Mr. Rajale, the learned Counsel for respondent nos.2 and 3 - acquiring body, on instructions, submits that the fresh proposal would be

In the light of the above, the respondent - acquiring body shall submit the proposal for acquisition expeditiously, preferably within four months from today. The respondent - authority on receiving the same shall proceed with the acquisition proceedings expeditiously. 5.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
