It appears that on the relevat date, the petitioners had not completed three years jail term. Due to that reason, their applications filed for emergency parole are rejected. The submissions made and record show that at present they have completed three years jail term. Thus, now they are eligible for consideration of emergency parole under Government Notification, dated 08-05-2020. It is open to the petitioners to approach the respondent-authority concerned again for emergency parole under aforesaid Government Notification and then applications will have to be considered by the Jail authority. With these observations, both Criminal Writ Petitions stand disposed off.
