The Petitioners have been issued with a notice dated 06/04/2023 by the Group Grampanchayat Karyalay, Bhoygaon, Narayanpur and Kobapur. Issue is as regards encroachment made by the Petitioners. Reply to the notice is filed through an Advocate on 26/05/2023.

Firstly, the Petitioners will have to establish that, they are not encroachers and this would require leading of oral and documentary evidence. Secondly, the authorities have to act in accordance with the provisions of law. Action initiated, prima facie, appears to be as per the provisions applicable.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. Needless to state, the authorities would act strictly as per the provisions of law applicable. If the Petitioners have any grievance, they would be at liberty to avail of the proceedings, as are permissible in law.
