The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a limited direction is sought in this petition, so that the respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee decides the tribe claim of the petitioner of belonging to Koli - Mahadev, Scheduled Tribe, within a stipulated period of time.

Learned AGP appears on behalf of both the respondents. This Court is informed that vigilance enquiry report has been filed and that the petitioner has also responded to the same. 3.

In view of the stage of proceedings before the respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee, it is directed that the tribe claim of the petitioner shall be finally decided, as expeditiously as possible and Shrikant Malani

The writ petition is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
