Heard Mr. Awale, learned counsel appearing for the applicant and Mr. Shinde, learned APP appearing for the respondent-State.

The present applicant-accused is arrested in connection with Crime No. 161/2017 registered with Shivaji Nagar Police Station Latur, District Latur, for the offence punishable under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

One Rushikesh Dattatraya Patil lodged complaint to the police station alleging that, on 06.05.2017 at about 7 p.m. when he was standing near a pan stall, there was some altercation between him and the applicant due to trifle reason. At about 7.30 p.m. the applicant along with two other persons came there and assaulted the informant on his back and neck by sickle and two other unknown persons tried to caught hold him. During the investigation the applicant was arrested and after investigation he was remanded to M.C.R. During the investigation, the clothes of the informant and the accused were seized.

Learned APP makes a statement that no weapon as used by the present applicant is seized by the investigating officer, for the reason best known to him. The statement of the eye witnesses are recorded and practically the investigation is over. 5.

Looking to the papers of investigation, it appears that, practically the investigation is over and some reports of Chemical Analyzer are yet to be received. The applicant is behind the bar since

3 CrBApln 3340 17rega.odt 07.05.2017 and now further detention of the present applicant is not necessary for the purpose of investigation.

Therefore, by putting some conditions, he can be enlarged on bail. Hence, following order.

O R D E R

(1) The applicant shall be released on bail in connection with Crime No. 161/2017, registered with Shivajinagar Police Station Latur, District Latur, on his executing P.R. Bond of Rs. 10,000/- [Rs. ten thousand only] with one solvent surety in the like amount.

(2) Applicant shall attend the Shivajinagar Police Station Latur on every Sunday between 12 noon to 2 p.m. for a period of 06 ( six) months from today.

(3) The applicant shall not enter the Latur city till filing of the charge-sheet, except for attendance in police station.
