ORDER :

1.

The Petitioner intends to purchase agricultural land. It is the submission of the Counsel for the Petitioner that this could be done in case the Petitioner is approved as a farmer by the concerned Authority. For that purpose, the Petitioner has been making applications from last 6 years. The Counsel further submits that the Petitioner is willing to make a comprehensive application along with the necessary documents addressed to Respondent No.1 - the Collector, Jalgaon.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner, we observe that the Petitioner is at liberty to file such an application to the appropriate Authority.

In case such application is received by the appropriate authority, the same be dealt with

in accordance with law. The Authority would be at liberty even to hear the Petitioner or any other concerned party.

4.

The said application shall be decided on its own merits and strictly in accordance with law. The decision so taken shall be communicated to the Petitioner at the earliest, preferably within three months from the date of receipt of such application.

5.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.

6.

The parties to act upon authenticated copy of this order.
