1] Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

2] The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 0251/2024, registered at Bhagyanagar Police Station, Nanded, for the offences punishable under sections 306, 323, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3] The statement under Section 164 Criminal Procedure Code made by the sister of the deceased wherein she has stated that on 13.06.2024 when she went home at around 6.30, she heard the sound of fighting in the house from outside. Swati (Deceased) and Dhanraj (applicant)

1208.24ABA were in the house and deceased was insisting to the applicant to marry and the applicant was refusing for the same and was beating the deceased. When the altercation was going on, the sister knocked the door, however, when the door was not opened, she pushed the door and opened it and that time her sister Swati was lying on the floor. It is further stated that the deceased informed her that the applicant by giving false promise of marriage was maintaining physical relation with the deceased and thereafter the applicant was refusing to marry her and was beating the deceased. Thereafter, the deceased consumed poison on the next day and died.

4] In view of above prima facie evidence, further investigation is required in the matter. Custodial interrogation of the applicant is necessary. Case is a serious one. No case is made out for grant of anticipatory bail in favour of the applicant. Hence, the present application is dismissed.
