It is submitted that the petitioners have made applications with the present respondent No. 3 for increase in the intake capacity of the existing colleges. The application is pending with the respondent No. 3. The respondent No. 3 is required to forward it to respondent No. 1. 2.

We have also heard the learned A.G.P. and Mr. Narwadkar, learned counsel for respondent No. 3.

The respondent No. 3 may process the application of the petitioners for increase in the intake capacity and forward it as per rules to the respondent No. 1 on or before 30.11.2020. The State Government shall, thereafter, take decision on the same on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, expeditiously and preferably by 20.12.2020.
