The Petitioner is a retired Tahsildar. It is conceded that he was in Government service. He desires to challenge the disciplinary action initiated against him.

In view of Section 15 and 3(q) of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 this Petition would lie before the learned Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, Aurangabad.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that this Petition may be transmitted to the learned Tribunal so as to be converted into an Original Application.
