The Petitioner has put-forth prayer clause 'B', as under:- "B) By an order of this Hon'ble High Court in the like nature of writ and / or appropriate order or direction, kindly direct the respondent No.1 and 2 to decide the application dated 13.07.2015, 07.06.2022 and 21.06.2022 within stipulated."

The learned AGP has taken instructions and he has been informed that, presently there

2 wp 8397.2022 are 4524 applications received by the District Collector / Competent Authority. 1151 matters have been decided and 1185 matters are being considered. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, fresh matters could not be taken up. Within 6 months, the pending application of the Petitioner under Section 3G(5) of the National Highways Act, 1956 would be decided.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner is satisfied.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off by recording the statement of Respondent No.2.
