Heard the learned Advocates for the respective sides. 2.

There is no dispute that the award dated 05.07.2021, has been declared and the compensation payable to the beneficiaries whose names appear in the Award, is also quantified. The only prayer of the Petitioners is that, as the Award is delivered on 05.07.2021, the compensation be paid within thirty days, along with interest as is statutorily payable. The possession of the lands was taken in 2006. 3.

The learned AGP prays that at least six months period may be granted.

Considering the sequence of events and the fact that the possession of the lands was taken 18 years ago and the award has been delivered three years ago, we direct the District Collector, Beed to pay

911wp8313-24 the compensation within 60 days from today, along with interest, as is statutorily payable.

The Writ Petition is disposed off.
