Mr. Jadhav, the learned counsel submits that, in all these cases applications have been filed seeking Tribe certificates

2 WP7550.15 as belonging to "Koli Mahadev" Sheduled Tribe. The learned counsel submits that, the same have not been decided by the Respondent No. 2. According to the learned counsel, the said proposals have been submitted through proper channel and even Circle Officer had made an inquiry.

The learned A. G. P. states that, if they are pending with the S. D. O. the same would be decided on its own merits. It appears that, pursuant to applications made by the petitioners, even some inquiry was made by the Circle Officer. 3.

It is for the Respondent No. 2 to consider the applications of the petitioners for issuance of Tribe Certificates on its own merits. The applications appears to have been filed through proper channel.

Considering the above, we pass the following order -

ORDER

I] The Respondent No. 2 shall decide the applications seeking the Tribe Certificates as belonging to "Koli Mahadev" Sheduled Tribe of the petitioners expeditiously and preferably within one (1) month from today.
