The petitioner seeks to challenge the disciplinary action vide order dated 04.05.2020 passed by the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad thereby, imposing a penalty upon the petitioner.

Rule 13(1)(e) of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishads District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964, enables the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, before the Divisional Commissioner.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off.

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits, on instructions, that time spent by the petitioner in this Court may be considered in the event of there being an issue of condonation of delay.
