The petitioner has approached this Court once again praying that though the validity certificate is applied for, the Committee has not taken any decision on the proposal forwarded in that behalf. The proposal has been forwarded as early as on 15.9.2011.

The petitioner has completed his

2 W.P.No.8640/17 Engineering course and applied for the post of Civil Engineer in Scheduled Caste reserved category. The petitioner claims that he was selected in the month of December 2015 and came to be appointed on 15.12.2015. This was a conditional appointment. The petitioner is still working but the employer is threatening to terminate the services and in that behalf our attention is invited to page 20 of the paper book.

On Perusal of the same, we are satisfied that the petitioner's request is indeed genuine. Till the Scrutiny Committee decides the matter, the petitioner be continued in the service, if not already discontinued. The Scrutiny Committee shall verify the claim and pass order as expeditiously as possible.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
