Learned A.P.P. tenders across the bar report from the concerned Police Station along with copies of medical papers indicating that the applicant/ appellant, who had met with an accident and was undergoing medical treatment and who was granted temporary bail, which was extended from time to time, is bed-ridden. According to learned A.P.P., the

Police official from the concerned Police Station has visited the applicant/ appellant's house and confirmed that the applicant/ appellant is bed-ridden. The copies of medical certificates support the said version. The same are taken on record and marked "X" Colly. for identification.

Learned Advocate for the applicant/ appellant submits that, the doctor has advised one month bed rest to the applicant/ appellant and therefore, the temporary bail granted to the applicant/ appellant be extended for a period of one month.

Learned Advocate for the informant opposes the said prayer. He submits that, the applicant/ appellant can very well walk and there is no need of extension of temporary bail. 4.

Learned A.P.P. submits that, appropriate order be passed.

On going through the medical papers submitted by the learned A.P.P. along with the report, we consider it appropriate to extend the period of temporary bail for a period of one month. After expiry of the said period, the applicant/

appellant shall surrender back to the concerned jail on 26th December 2024.

The Criminal Application stands disposed of.
