PER COURT :

The petitioner is working as a Majdoor - Class IV, with the Municipal Council, from 26.6.2003. A proposal for seeking validity as belonging to 'Thakur' scheduled tribe is pending since 21.6.2014. 2.

The Vigilance Cell Enquiry Report is received and the petitioner has also tendered his written explanation.

The learned AGP submits that if the petitioner appears before the Committee for final hearing on 5th September 2022 at Dhule at 11.00 a.m., his claim would be decided by 7th October 2022. The petitioner is agreeable.

In view of the above statements, this petition is disposed off. 5.

The petitioner shall render whole-hearted cooperation to the Committee and any request for adjournment on unreasonable or trivial ground would justify the Committee in progressing to the next stage in the proceedings.
