Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would restrict the petition only to prayer clause (C-3), which reads thus :

C-3) By appropriate Writ, order or direction Respondent no. 4 may kindly be directed to consider the applications dated 04.05.2016, 26.07.2016 (Exhibit G), 31.08.2016 (Exhibit H), 18.02.2017 (Exhibit J), 02.05.2023 (Exhibit O) and take appropriate decision with a period of two months."

Learned advocate Mr. Bhandari submits that now that the admission process may start, the Bar Council of India - respondent no. 4 may be directed to take appropriate decision within two weeks. 4.

Learned advocate for respondent no. 4 submits that respondent no. 4 would consider the petitioner's application on its own merits. If some objections are raised or shortcomings are pointed out, petitioner shall comply with those, to enable it to take a decision expeditiously.

We dispose of the petition with following directions:- (I) The petitioner shall appear before respondent no. 4 on Monday - 1 July 2024.

(II) Respondent no. 4 shall communicate any shortcomings or deficiencies to the petitioner as early as possible and in any case within a week.

(III) If any such objections are pointed out, the petitioner shall be obliged to comply with and remove those and from the date of compliance, respondent no. 4 shall take final decision within a week thereafter.
