The learned counsel for petitioners submits that the order of this Court dated 26th September, 2019 is not complied with. This Court directed the SDO to take decision upon the applications of the petitioners for issuance of caste certificate within a period of three months from the date the petitioners file on-line applications. The petitioners filed on-line applications on 15th January, 2020. The applications are not decided.
On the last date, we had requested the learned Additional Government Pleader to take instructions as to the status of the petitioners' applications. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that on 13th February, 2020 through the Setu
948 cp.139.21.odt Suvidha Kendra intimation was given to the petitioners to comply the deficiencies within seven days. The deficiencies were not complied with. Thereafter, the applications of the petitioners have been decided within three months in view of the order of this Court on 9th April, 2020. The applications are rejected because of lack of deficiencies and also on merits.
The learned counsel for petitioners submits that the petitioners at no point of time were communicated about the deficiencies and the order of the SDO.
Be that as it may, the contempt stands purged in view of the fact that the SDO has already decided the applications of the petitioners on 9th April, 2020.
The petitioners may assail the order of the SDO as may be permissible under law.
