The petitioner-institute, which runs a special school is soliciting a direction for considering the proposal (Exh. 'C') dated 22.09.2021 for granting sanction to the additional staff.

It is also being pointed out that though this proposal (Exh. 'C') indicates the financial burden likely to be incurred by the State, subsequently by a government resolution dated 08.06.2024, additional staff was sanctioned to 16 schools stated to be similarly placed as that of the petitioner's school. The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that as per his information even after 08.06.2024 a similar government resolution has been passed in respect of similarly placed institutes with a similar request for grant of sanction to the additional staff. 3.

The writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 1 to consider and decide the petitioner's proposal (Exh. 'C') dated 22.09.2021 on 1/2

937 WP 7805 24.odt its own merits if it has not already been decided, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within 12 weeks from today.
