By way of this writ petition, the petitioner seeks directions to the respondent-Authority to decide the representations made on 12th February, 2025 and on 10th March, 2025, for providing a colour photo copy of his service book.

Briefly stated, the petitioner, who was serving under the Border Security Force, suffered an order of dismissal passed on 30th April, 2010. The said order was challenged by the petitioner in writ petition No. 7351 of 2013, which was dismissed by an order dated 24th August, 2018. In the said proceeding, the Court held that during subsistence of his first
wp9265.25 -2marriage, the second marriage performed by the petitioner, was not a disputed fact. The petitioner was offered sufficient opportunity to defend himself and the prayer made by him for awarding lesser punishment was rejected in view of the decision of this Court in the case of Chief Executive Officer Krishna District Co-operative Central Bank Ltd. and another vs. K. Hanumantha Rao and another : 2017 (4) Mh.L.J. 484. A review application (St.) No. 37419 of 2018 filed by the petitioner was dismissed on 25th January, 2019. About six years thereafter, the petitioner has approached this Court with the aforementioned prayer, which, in our opinion, cannot be granted. After the order of dismissal from service dated 30th April, 2010, attains finality, the petitioner is not entitled to seek a colour photo copy of his service book. Even otherwise, the service book of the petitioner, now is not a relevant document so far as the remarks recorded thereunder are concerned.
