We have heard the learned Advocate for the Petitioners and the learned AGP, for quite some time. With their assistance, we have gone through the Petition paper-book.

The Petitioners had approached this Court on 05.08.2016, by filing this Petition for the purpose of seeking directions to the Zilla Parishad, Beed, that they should be given postings as Shikshan Sevaks as per their options set out in their concerned applications. All of them today are in employment and are posted at various places. After the

942 WP NO.10562.2017 -2passage of 9 years and having been posted at different places, considering that they are transferrable after 3 years, we do not find that the cause taken up in this Petition would survive as on date. 3.

The learned Advocate for the Zilla Parishad submits that the Petitioners can make an application as soon as the portal is opened in terms of the Government Resolution dated 23.05.2023 for the next academic year 2026 - 2027.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off with liberty to the Petitioners to prefer an application in the light of the GR dated 23.05.2023.
