The learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Counsel for respondent no.4 submit that respondent no.3 - the Joint Director, Higher

2 57-wp7758.odt Education, Jalgaon has already forwarded the proposal (Exhibit 'J', page 26 to this petition) to respondent no.2 - the Director, Higher Education, Maharashtra State, Pune on 01.06.2016, for appointment of the petitioner as Peon on compassionate ground with respondent no.4, however, no decision is taken on the proposal by respondent no.2 - the Director.

In the circumstances, in the light of the submissions made across the Bar, we direct respondent no.2 - the Director, Higher Education, Maharashtra State, Pune to take a decision on the said proposal forwarded by respondent no.3 on 01.06.2016, if already not taken, as expeditiously as possible, however, within a period of two weeks from today, on its own merits and to communicate the decision to the concerned respondents and also the petitioner.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
