By way of present petition, the petitioner has made the following prayer :

A) This Criminal Writ Petition may kindly be allowed, and or, B) By appropriate writ, direction or order in like nature to quash and set aside the impugned order passed by the respondent No.3 dated 15/7/2024/ 17.7.2024 (Exhibit A),

and thereby direct the respondents to extend parole leave of petitioner for three months, or, C) To grant any other equitable and suitable relief which this Hon'ble Court deems fit, by allowing the petition. 2.

It is submitted by learned Advocate for the petitioner that, the petitioner was granted parole leave for 45 days and his extension for a period of 15 days has been turned down by the authority. He submits that, the wife of the petitioner is pregnant and also handicapped. Due to her medical reasons given in the medical papers, the presence of the petitioner is required to take care of his wife. He submits that, his parole leave be extended for a period of 15 days. 3.

Learned A.P.P. submits that, under the Rules, parole can be granted for a period of 60 days in three years. He submits that, appropriate orders be passed. 4.

We have perused the petition and the Exhibits. The contention of the Advocate for the petitioner are supported with documents. Thus, we proceed to pass the following order:

O R D E R

The period of parole leave of the petitioner is further extended by 15 days from the date of completion of 45th day of the parole leave. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
