Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

By way of present writ petition, the petitioner/husband challenges the order dated 8.5.2025 passed by the learned Civil Judge, Senior Division, Omerga on exh. 16 in HMA No. 55/2025 by which the learned trial court has directed the petitioner to pay interim maintenance of Rs. 3000/- p.m. to respondent/wife.

The learned trial court, more particularly, in para 7 has observed that the applicant/petitioner is driving rickshaw and earning Rs. 300/- to 500/- per day. Petitioner is having certain landed property. The applicant has capacity to pay the maintenance. Considering the above, the trial Court has granted interim maintenance at the rate of Rs.3000/- p.m. 4.

Considering the above aspect of the matter, it cannot be said that the interim maintenance granted by the trial court is excessive. I see no reason to interfere in the impugned order passed by the learned trial court. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
