DATE : 10th December, 2020 ORDER:

1.

Mr. Kamble, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that yhe reservations for the wards are improperly made. Two seats in ward No.1 are reserved for Scheduled Tribe Category. The same is in violation of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats (Number of Members, Divisions into Wards and Reservation of Seats) Rules, 1966. According to the learned counsel, rotation policy is also not observed. The procedure has not been followed. Only the part of the objection of the petitioner is accepted with regard to the inclusion of name of voters.

2. Learned A.G.P. accepts notice for resplendent Nos, 1, 3, 4 and 5. Mr. Kadethankar, the learned counsel appears for respondent No.2. 3.

From the documents placed on record, it appears that the petitioner had not raised objections about reservation. Objection raised by the petitioner of voters has been accepted by the authority. There is nothing on record to show that the petitioner had raised objection to the reservation.

4.

In light of above, no case for interference. Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
