Mr. Bora, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner No.1 was having qualification of Ph.D and retired from service. Petitioner No.2 is in service and having qualification of Ph.D. The petitioners having qualification of Ph.D., are entitled for Academic Grade Pay (AGP). Learned counsel submits that even legal notice was issued to the Director and Joint Director of the Higher Education, but no cognizance has been taken.

Learned AGP accepts notice for all respondents.

The petitioner may file comprehensive representation with respondent No.2. The respondent No.2 shall consider the representation filed by the petitioners for grant of Academic Grade Pay (AGP) on its own merits and decide the same preferably within three (03) months from the date of filing of the representation. 4.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
