This Court by order dated 20.06.2022, the applicants/tenants were granted time of fourteen months to vacate the premises subject to an undertaking being given by the tenant to vacate the same after the expiry of 14 months. Period of 14 months expires on 19th of August 2023.

The learned counsel for applicants submits that inspite of their best efforts, they have not been able to find alternate accommodation.

The learned Advocate for the respondent submits that the
applicants / tenants are not ready to vacate the premises and that no attempt is made to find an alternate accommodation. 4.
In order to avoid the applicants/tenants from committing the contempt of this court, the applicants/tenants are granted one months time i.e. uptill 19.09.2023 to vacate the premises. The applicants would be bound to deposit Rs. 2,000/- as rent from 19.08.2023 to 19.09.2023. The undertaking given to the Court would subsist and in the event, the applicant is not able to vacate the same by 19.09.2023, they would be liable by the undertaking given in the Court. The applicants to deposit Rs. 2,000/- by 19.08.2023 in this Court.

Alternatively, the applicants can make the payment online to the owner / landlord of Rs. 2,000/- and the receipt of the same is to be filed in the Registry.

Time to vacate the premises is extended upto 19.09.2023. 7.
Applicants are put to notice that no further extension would be granted.
