Mr. Jadhav, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, in all these matters, the proposals of the petitioners for starting ANM and GNM Courses are pending with the respondent No.3. He submits that, the respondent No.3 and the State Government be directed to take steps for deciding the applications of the petitioners.

Mr. Narwadkar, learned counsel for respondent No.3 submits that, there are many such applications pending with the respondent No.3 and it will not be possible to decide the applications of the petitioners within a particular time-frame. 3.

We are at the fag end of November 2020. It would not be appropriate to give specific directions as are given by us

in earlier petitions filed prior to Diwali Vacation. 4.

If it is possible for the respondents, then the respondent No.3 may consider the applications of the petitioners for opening new GNM/ ANM Colleges; carry out the inspection and forward the proposal to the Government by 20th December 2020. The State Government shall thereafter take decision, for grant of essentiality certificates to the petitioners on its own merits. The said decision may be taken by 15th January 2021 and communicated to respondent No.3. Thereafter, the further process be done immediately.

With these observations, Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
