Learned Government Pleader appearing for the Respondent-State has tendered across the Bar a chart showing the recent figures in respect of participation of the farmers in crop insurance by way of filing on-line applications. The same is taken on record and marked as "X" for identification. Learned Government Pleader further submits that affidavit in reply on behalf of Respondent Nos.2 has already been filed, mentioning the same figures.

Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, further submits that all the

concerned have been instructed to accept the online applications till midnight of today i.e. 31st July, 2018. He further submits that the concerned Banks through whom on-line applications have been accepted, are allowed to submit the hard copies of the said applications by 23rd August, 2018. The said fact is also incorporated in the affidavit in reply and also in the Government Resolution dated 23rd July, 2018, issued by the Government of Maharashtra in its Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and fisheries Department.

Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that the grievance raised in this Petition stands redressed. In that view of the matter, further adjudication of the Public Interest Litigation is not necessary. Hence the Public Interest Litigation stands disposed of. [V.K. JADHAV, J.] [S.S.
