In view of the judgment in the matter of Shobha Ashok Patil Vs. Mahananda Rajaram Nikam and others (1997(3) Mh.L.J. 353), delivered by Bombay High Court relying upon the judgment of the Supreme Court in the matter of V.V.Giri v. D.Suri Dora and others ( AIR 1959 SC 1318), and the decision of this Court in Writ Petition No.7726/2015, in the matter of Amol Dattatraya Keskar Vs. The Returning Officer decided on 28.7.2015, there is no need to clarify the legal position as regards procedure to be adopted for conduct of election and declaration of results.

The writ petition does not deserve consideration and, as such, stands rejected.
