Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.P. for respondents.

The petitioner seeks direction against respondent No. 2 to decide the validation proceeding immediately. 3.

It is lethargy on the part of the petitioner in moving the committee so late. The petitioner is issued with caste certificate in the year 2017 and the proposal for verification has been filed on 6th July 2021. At such late stage, it would not be possible to issue positive directions to the committee. However,

WP No. 9663/21 considering that the petitioner is exploring admission to the professional course, the committee may, if it is possible for it, endeavour to decide the said proposal by 10th of October, 2021. 4.

The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 6th of September, 2021.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
