1] These petitions can be disposed of in view of the decision rendered by this Court on 13.7.2016 in Writ Petition No.6096/2016 and other companion matters. While disposing of these matters, this Court has issued directions in paragraph nos.8 and 9 of the order, which
WP 7827/16 & another - 2 - read thus:
"8. The respondent/admission authority shall not take any adverse action against the petitioners whose claims remain pending for consideration with the Scrutiny Committee for verification, on account of their failure to submit validation certificate before the prescribed date. Admissions of the students to medical courses including the petitioners shall be subject to the outcome of the decision of the scrutiny committee in respect of verification of their respective caste/tribe certificates.
9.
In all the matters pertaining to the students whose validation claim is pending with the scrutiny committee, endeavour shall be made to take decision as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year and it is accordingly directed. No separate direction in this regard is necessary."
2] In view of above directions already issued by this Court, no further orders are necessary in the present petitions. The writ petitions are disposed of in above terms.
