The Petitioner has availed of the remedy under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, by preferring a second Revision before Respondent No.1 in January, 2023. According to him, a notice of hearing is not issued till today by Respondent No.1.

Considering the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with the following directions:- (a) If the notice is not already issued, let Respondent

*2* 948wp10665o23 No.1 issue notice to the litigating parties in the second Revision and post the matter for a hearing in Mantralaya on 17.10.2023 (returnable date).

(b) By following the due procedure laid down in law and by giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the stakeholders, Respondent No.1 would decide the said proceedings within 60 days from 17.10.2023.
