ORAL ORDER :

Heard. Perused the contents of the letter addressed by the Assistant Police Inspector, Police Station, Nanalpeth, Parbhani to the Sub-Registrar, Jintur, District Parbhani. Upon perusal of the contents of the said letter, it appears that, the petitioner and other persons are accused wherein, by giving assurance to the citizens that they will get handsome amount, amounts have been accepted from them and accordingly, the

Cri.W.P.No.951/2015 common citizens are cheated, thereby not fulfilling the initial assurance given to them that they will get handsome amount upon depositing such amounts. It appears that, the petitioner has received Rs.23,72,693/- as a commission from Success Trade and Services Pvt. Ltd. Company. In that view of the matter, we do not see any reason to stay the effect of said letter. Ultimately it is the public money which is involved and the police authorities have right to withhold the sale or transfer of the properties of the accused. In the peculiar facts of the present case, we decline to exercise the writ jurisdiction. Hence, the Writ Petition stands rejected.
