The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the Application filed by the respondent U/Sec. 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 is pending before the District Court at Jalgaon since the year-2014. The stay is granted. Directions be given to decide the said Application.

We are not aware about the number of matters pending before the concerned District Judge.

Be that as it may, 7 years is too long period for the matter not to be decided.

The petitioner shall make a request to the District Court for expeditious hearing of the Application filed by the respondent U/Sec. 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 which application shall be considered by the District Judge considering the pendency of matters before it.

In case, in spite of filing the Application by the petitioner the District Judge does not decide the same within a reasonable time, then the petitioner may move this Court.

Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
