The present petition is pending since 2014.

Learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Kannad, directed the petitioner to pay maintenance of Rs. 5000/- (Rs. Five thousand only) per month.

The petitioner was put to notice that he should deposit an amount of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand only) in this Court, which he had though complied, however, fact remains that

2 WP 8540-2014 subsequent thereto, petitioner has not paid any maintenance to the respondent.

This Court while testing bonafides of the petitioner on 30th October 2017, adjourned the matter, so as to give chance to petitioner to work out the same, with a direction to deposit part arrears of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rs. One lac only). 5.

Neither the order dated 30th October 2017 is complied with by the petitioner nor anybody is present today in the matter for the petitioner when called out. Even on last occasion petitioner remained absent.

As such, the petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
