The petitioner under the application was seeking information as to whether the properties are the wakf properties or not. The Authority directed the petitioner to approach the office of the land records. Aggrieved thereby, the present petition. 2.

The list of wakf properties is published in the Official Gazette. After the survey, under Section 5 of the Wakf Act the State Government forwards the copy of the report of the survey of wakf properties to the Board. The Board thereafter sends it back to the Government for publication in the Official Gazette and the record of Gajanan

the wakf properties as per the survey is maintained by the Sate Government as per Section 5 of the Wakf Act. The gazette is an Official Gazette and the public document.
