The applicant seeks pre-arrest bail in Crime No.118 of 2024 registered with Anandnagar Police Station, District Osmanabad for the offence punishable under Sections 417, 418, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 511 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of fraudulent uploading the forms of the beneficiaries for the crop insurance. The applicant was the authorized person to upload such applications. However, the applicant has a case that his CSC ID number is different from the number from which the forms were submitted.

The learned APP submits that he has oral instructions that the agent can create four CSC ID numbers and the witnesses have been examined on that fact.

It appears that there is a confusion about the CSC ID number registered in the name of the applicant. Otherwise also, it is a matter of document. Instead of sending him to police custody, he may be directed to appear before the investigation officer for investigation.

Hence, in the facts and circumstances, the interim anticipatory bail granted to the applicant dated 29.07.2024 stands confirmed on the condition that he should attend the police station on 4th, 6th and 9th, September 2024 between 11.00 am to 02.00 pm. (S.G. MEHARE, J.) Mujaheed//
